Concerthall "Cēsis"

Concert hall “Cēsis” was opened in the spring of 2014. The historical elements of the concert hall co-exist harmoniously with the contemporary ones. The architectural image of the concert hall was created by restoring the old Cēsis Community Building and adding some contemporary architectural forms to it.

The acoustic Great Hall with 800 seats, Chamber Hall, Organ Hall, Cinema Hall and Exhibition Hall are at the visitors' disposal.  The building also includes a restaurant and a bar.

Active cultural life takes place in the concert hall “Cēsis” – concerts of highly professional artists, performances of professional theatre companies, art exhibitions and film screenings. The infrastructure of the building is ideal for organizing conferences, seminars and social events.

It is possible to apply for a tour, during which there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the concert hall “Cēsis” from the point of view of both cultural and contemporary aspects. During the visit, you can not only walk through the corridors of the concert hall, but also look at the scene from the perspective of projector light and enjoy a unique panorama and unforgettable view of the entire town. The tour is available for groups of at least 10 people and its duration is approximately 1 hour. The tours take place in Latvian, Russian, English and German.
