Riding Club “Hobby Ride”

Riding club “Hobby Ride” is located only 12 km from Cēsis. It provides relaxation possibilities for persons of all ages – to everyone who enjoys beautiful nature and horses. Visitors love taking walks around the territory of our stable and even quite a steep walk along the ravine to the River Raunis. You can also take photos with the horses, cuddle them and give them special horse-treats. Children can get some relaxing horse-back rides. It is possible to apply for individual riding lessons as well as vaulting lessons (gymnastics on the back of a horse while it’s slowly walking in a cord). This exercise is very healthy for all muscle groups of a human. Experienced riders can also go trail-riding accompanied by our trainer in the beautiful territory of the Gauja National Park.

Stable is not large, which means that "Hobby Ride" provide a very individual approach to each guest. Riding lessons take place in a specially designed sand riding arena where you can also use obstacles for show-jumping.
