Only today and tomorrow, September 3rd, it is possible to apply for participation in the LAMPA Interreg Hike. The hike will take place on Saturday, September 5th.

Join a conversation with nature in Sarunu festivāls LAMPA 2020 on a short afternoon hike along the scenic Gauja river. Start and finish point near Cesis Concert Hall.

 To join, press going in the event on facebook and complete the registration form there at "Reserve a spot" and arrive on time at the meeting point. Bring friends, a flashlight for safety, hiking boots, 1L of drinking water, spare socks and a raincoat. Distance - 16 km.

The planned route follows Metsa matkarada - Baltic Forest Hiking - Mežtaka with varying terrain through the city, forest, gravel roads and along Gauja riverside till Ērgļu cliffs and back to the city. If you are in a hurry, distance can be shortened by a few kilometres by taking an earlier route back to the city.
