Cesis Spring restaurant week has begun |

Gourmands, foodies, culinary connoisseurs and everybody else who basically loves food – Cesis Spring restaurant week has officially begun!

From Monday, April 1st through 7th of April, 5 restaurants of Cesis will surprise your taste buds during the city’s biggest culinary event of this spring. All these restaurants will have special offer - 3 course meal for especially friendly price – 20 EUR.

Let the products of Latvia surprise you - all the participating restaurants will serve delightful dishes which reflects Latvian spring in the kitchen. You will be able to taste such a unique meals as - halibut stewed in birch juice with spinach crumbs, purple potato muss, mussels and lemon sauce, grilled Lapland cheese with birch juice syrup, fresh fruits and first dandelion leaves, lamb skewer with pink cauliflower salad and chives sauce, rhubarb and sparkling vine sorbet with whipped rhubarb sauce and peppermint crumbs and other delicacies.

This years restaurant week’s participants are “Cafe2Locals”, “Hotel Cēsis”, “Jāņoga”, “H.E. Vanadziņš Ziemeļu restorāns” and “Villa Santa Hotel”.

We advice you to make reservations ahead of time as spots are known to fill up pretty quickly during the seasonal event!
