Cēsis region will participate in the International Hanseatic Days market in Riga

The Union of Hanseatic Cities "Die HANSE" organizes a large-scale festival - International Hanseatic Days - every year in one of the Hanseatic cities. This year, from August 19 to August 22, they will take place in Riga, when a large Hanseatic market is expected in several parks and squares. Participants of Cēsis region will be able to meet on park “Esplanade”.

The Hanseatic League and trade have always been closely linked, making the Hanseatic market the central axis of the annual program of International Hanseatic Days. On August 21 and 22, the Hanseatic cities will show their cities, their traditions, culture and main tourism sites in the four squares of the capital. Cēsis and the region will be represented on the Esplanade, where you will be able to meet craftsmens of Cēsis, Straupe and Limbaži, as well as get acquainted with the tourism offers of the city and region.

Home producers, craftsmens and local producers will take part in the Hanseatic Fair. There will be able to get acquainted with countless offers from handicrafts to modern exquisite culinary masterpieces, from city souvenirs to exciting tourist routes.

The Hanseatic Market will be open from 10:00 to 21:00 on August 21, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on 22 August.
