The camping “Ungurs” is located 13 km from the centre of the town of Cēsis at the motorway Cēsis-Limbaži and 3 km from the motorway Riga-Valmiera-Estonian border at the picturesque Ungurs Lake which is the largest lake in the Gauja National Park. For many years now this lake is a recreational place for the residents of Cēsis and visitors from other Latvian regions and abroad. There are mushroom and berry picking areas in the woods located near the lake. The lake is popular among anglers. There are several cycling routes, natural and historical objects of interest in the surrounding area of the lake.
The camping “Ungurs” offers 8 residential houses with the total number of beds: 27 (2-5 places in the house), an unlimited number of tent places and 10 log cabin (trailer) sites. The camping has showers and toilets, fireplaces and grills, volleyball and football fields and ball rental, catamaran and boat rental, children's playground and a sauna.
The camping is open from 1 May to 1 September.
