Priekuļi Saule (Sun) Park with a Sundial and a Health Trail

A rhododendron garden has been created in Priekuļi Saules Park with more than 120 rhododendrons, which bloom exuberantly in the spring. Rhododendrons with interesting names like "Sleeping Policeman", "The Prince of Priekuļi" and "Snow Queen" can be found here, thanks to Priekuļi kindergarten "Mežmaliņa" children, who have given names to 24 new rhododendron hybrids.

Visitors of the park may acquaint themselves with a variety of cultivated plants on its territory. It is an educational environment for adults and children alike. Children can learn what potatoes, peas, cereals and other plants grown in the fields look like.
